How do I adjust the settings on the Achedaway Smart Cupper?

The Achedaway is truly a smart device in that all of its settings can be easily adjusted thru the app. As I type this review, I am actually undergoing a session while using the app to adjust the intensity. You can also choose between 5 modes, Wake Up, Relaxing, Massage, Professional and Powerful. In addition, you can adjust the red light therapy on/off via the app. The device also has an on/off button built in, as well as a red light control.

How much suction does the Achedaway Smart Cupper generate?

The Achedaway Smart Cupping Device is extremely powerful. It can grip and suction onto your skin with ease, up to 60 kPA of power. With that being said, I only desired using the lowest settings, as it was so strong that I didn't feel the need to power up! That is how truly powerful this device is. I felt instant relief with my stiff neck and tight trap muscle, so I couldn't believe how effective this smart cupping device was!

 

With that being said: I would like to point out here that everyone will feel or perceive the strength differently depending on their body type.

 

This photo will give you a better sense of the power you can expect from this device, as these marks were generated on nearly the lowest power setting (marks are normal for cupping, by the way, be prepared to see marks after each session for up to 3 days).

 

I personally think that suction strength will not be a complaint with this device. It packs plenty of suction strength for any user, and the bonus red light therapy mode is a nice addition (see photo below).

Other Gripes or Comments

The Achedaway smart cupping machine doesn't appear to have a turn off button in the app. Currently, we have figured out two ways to get the suction to stop. One way is to hold down the power button, then turn it back on, and pause it.

 

However, this can be difficult if the unit is on your mid back, so in that case a partner is required to safely remove and stop the session, if it is out of reach. Otherwise, if you are by yourself, you can turn it off by setting app timer to 2 seconds when you want it to turn off.
