Bob and Brad C2
Back in 2011, physical therapists Bob Schrupp and Brad Heinick launched a YouTube channel intended to share free tips and tricks that they had learned over the years while helping patients find solutions for pain recovery. Fast forward to 10+ years and millions of views later, it is safe to say they are legitimately internet famous, as you may have came across one of their videos while searching for pain relief tips, or you may already be one of their 4.5 million subscribers.
Bob and Brad decided to begin designing and manufacturing pain relief products so that viewers would have the ability to own tools that they use in their own practice. The Bob and Brad line now includes Deep Tissue Percussion Massager Guns, Eye Massagers, Neck and Back Massagers, Leg Massagers, Foot Massagers, Handheld Massager, Resistance Bands, and many health therapy products.
With the Bob and Brad brand, you can take comfort in knowing that you are getting a product that has received the blessing and input from two famous, licensed physical therapists. We have tested their flagship model Bob and Brad C2 massage gun to figure out how it works and to see if it will fit your needs.

Is the Bob and Brad C2 Massager Powerful Enough?
Although the Bob and Brad C2 Massager is smaller than most full sized massagers, it packs a surprisingly strong punch!
The great thing about the Bob and Brad C2 massage gun is that it is small and light enough that you can apply pressure manually without feeling as much fatigue as some of the larger, heavier massage guns. So while I found it necessary to use some light hand pressure to release the tighter knots in my trapezius, I liked that it wasn't tiring to do so.
This massage gun also hits the top power setting without so much as a humming noise, which is a huge plus compared to some of its competitors, which may be stronger at the top speed, but they are also significantly louder.
I liked that you could switch between all 5 power levels with the click of a button. Although it is not as strong as some of the full size massagers in my arsenal, I feel the top power setting is acceptable, especially if I was on a road trip or in a setting where I needed to keep sound down while receiving treatment.
How does the Bob and Brad Massage Gun feel on your Back?
Rather than just describing the power of the Bob and Brad C2 massager to you, I've also included the below outline to describe the feeling you get when using it on different body areas.
Back: With assisted pressure, it worked well on my traps. I found it a bit difficult to solo treat other areas of the back, due to its shorter handle length.
Legs: treating my sore quads and calves was easy and smooth. For glutes and hamstrings you will need a partner to really treat effectively as the shorter handle is a bit limiting for these areas.
Front Shoulders, Forearms, Abs/Core: the manual has specific tips on treating these, which I found interesting, as I had yet to use a massager on my abs/core. I enjoyed using this feature and I will be doing this in the future.

Accessory Options
If you plan on taking this massager on the road, the good news is it comes with a sturdy and compact carrying case. Some handheld massagers do not include a carry case, so that is a nice savings right off the bat. In addition, the smaller size case is preferential, since it won't take as much as space in your backpack or suitcase.
The Bob and Brad C2 massage gun comes with five attachment head, a USB charger, and a well written manual with tips from licensed physical therapists.
- Standard round tip: This comes included with the Bob and Brad C2 Massage gun, and it is the most all around tip. It is a good balance between the flat and the pointed tips.
- Soft tip: This attachment felt great on my abs, and is a lot less intrusive than the trigger tip, so I mostly used this on less dense muscle groups like forearms, the front of shoulders and as I mentioned, my abs.
- Fork tip: this attachment is great for treating soreness around the spine or to double the thumb effect onto other sore areas.
- Thumb tip: Simulates a therapist's thumb. This really gets deeper than the round ball attachment and the flat tip.
- Flat tip: A nice, happy medium between the thumb and the ball, it is a good all around tip.
Battery Life
The 3 hour battery life is outstanding and I felt I could go weeks without needing to charge. Plus, the USB-C charging cable makes it easy to charge anywhere that has an USB input.

Is a Bob and Brad Massage Gun Worth it?
After testing the Bob and Brad C2 Massage Gun, I would recommend this massager to anyone looking for a nice priced massager that travels well. It is an amazing value buy at $99.99. The benefit of this gun is that it is in a sweet spot of sorts: smaller than most full size massagers, but still bigger than the ultra small designs, you can use it as your full time massager but also travel with it. The Bob and Brad C2's lightweight design and convenient size make it a winner at the $99 pricepoint. It is packed with 5 intensity level options and 5 attachments and is extremely quiet to use. Overall after using the Bob and Brad C2 and testing all of its features and attachments, I would recommend this massage gun.
- Super Quiet: During testing I used the Bob and Brad C2 at sporting events, in gyms and hotel lobbies, and I did not disrupt the environment around me while doing so. It is a very quiet massage gun, even a top speeds.
- 5 speeds: The variety of speed options allows you to adjust on the fly, between muscle groups or users, there is something for every pain and muscle, and "every-body."
- 5 attachments: The included attachments allow you to switch up the massage style, which is great for handling different body parts and treatment sessions.

Summary
Star Rating ★★★★ 4.17 Personally I have benefitted from free advice videos put out by Bob and Brad over the years, so I was thrilled to test out their massage gun. True to their reputation, they have put out a quality product at a friendly price (in this case, $99.99). In my opinion, as the faces of the brand, Bob and Brad were already worth supporting given the outstanding value they have given to the world, free, but also, their retail massage gun does meet the mark, and I can honestly recommend it as a tremendous value at $99.99.
